More on Dad

Doctors removed his trake on Tuesday....he will now have a scar to talk about when he gets out. :) He is still very confused, but, oddly enough, when the doctors and nurses come in to talk to him, he is 100% lucid, so we know things will get better. Today, Wade said that he walked (with assistance) from his bed to the door of his room 3 times!! He is still on his feeding tube (he and the Pope again....hmmmmmm), but he is very close to passing his swallow test. His speech pathologist said that once the trake came out, that his swallowing should come back quicker, so hopefully it will.
